Winter to Spring Newsletter 2019

Happy New Year to you all and hope you are enjoying your equipment, tools and materials you had for Christmas. I am busy dyeing lots of fleeces, wools and yarns ready for the start of the show season. I am now specialising in local wools such as Teeswater, Wensleydale, Swaledale and White Faced Woodland, buying direct from local farms and smallholders. New this year will be mini 25g hanks of 4ply and double knit wools. I start with natural coloured bases and overdye using our Gaywool Dyes. Taking 10 different hanks knit changing colours randomly it looks stunning.

I shall be closed from the 31st January and not open until the 12th February. During this time we shall be stocktaking, having a new kitchen fitted at home and a few days holiday.

We have lots of new products from Ashford such as the new folding Kiwi 3, jumbo electric spinner, rigid heddle looms with a double heddle kit built in and warping posts. Try the fun new wavy shuttles best to use fluffy woollen yarns to grip.

A gentle reminder if you wish to visit always phone to check I,m here as often away teaching and at shows. Many of you will know Sara who helps me at the shows. I gave her the new Kiwi 3 for Christmas. If you would like to follow her new spinning journey follow her on Facebook as SuperSara Spinner.
