It’s been a really busy year with lots of visits to Guilds to run workshops and retail my supplies from Dumfries and Galloway to New Forest. Weekends for 2016 are booking up quickly so if you would like me to visit your Guild contact me asap. I’m already booked for Chelford, Gloucester, Exeter, Eden Valley, Cheshire, Walsall, Coventry, Lakes and Lancs. etc  I’ve attended several new Wool and textile events this year from Edinburgh Yarn Festival to Proper Woolly in Devon. It’s a good job I enjoy driving but not the traffic jams on the M6.

Due to arrive soon will be stock of 1 kilo bags of Gaywool Dyes perfect for Indie dyers looking for the beautiful colours of Australia. New products dyed by myself include large wool batts, woven felt, nylon lace and large sheets of pre felt.

Weaving has been my most popular craft this year. I can supply floor, table and rigid heddle looms from Louet, Glimakra and Ashford. I offer a package for the Glimakra   Emilia loom 35cm, 2 additional reeds, 2 additional shuttles and a carry bag cost £247 promotion price £220. Loom 50 cm package £282 promotion price £250.

New weaving packs of 3 co-ordinating 4 ply Alpaca yarns are available in a wide range of colours £13.50 for 150g. This yarn is so soft and has a beautiful drape perfect for scarves and shawls. Shetland wool is also packed in sets of 3 balls £15 ideal for weaving or knitting. Mixed packs of 15 coordinating yarns are available in 25 colours and are great for mini weaving, embroidery and jewellery £3.50.  Colourful rollags come in a mixture of wools and silk noils that when spun create unusual tweed effects £4.50.
