The new kid on the block – Buddy with Dutch tension!!

The Buddy spinning wheel is available with a wide treadle, with two treadles and as a compact folding Travel Buddy with backpack. Designed for both new and experienced spinners the key principles were quality, affordability and ease of use.

Advantages

o            Four bobbins and a stand-alone lazy kate for three bobbins are included.

o            Dutch tension: Irish tension improved by Jan Louët. The wheel is bobbin-led, but because of the aerodynamical design of the flyer you can spin with a very low pull on the yarn. That makes Dutch tension very suitable for spinning thin yarns as well as thick and art yarns.

o            With 5 ratios from 1:4 to 1:18, orifice of 18 mm (0.7″) and special insert, Buddy is an all-rounder: you can spin thin, thick and art yarn with it.

o            The 12 mm special insert can be aligned so that the yarn does not wobble.

o            Easy to move large sliding guides with an opening, allowing you to insert the yarn instead of threading it through.

o            Effective and easy-to-assemble construction.

o            No disposable plastic in the packaging.
