The mechanical dobby head of the Magic Dobby loom works with of a chain of program bars. Every bar stands for a step in your pattern; more program bars therefore allows a longer weaving repeat. The holes in the program bars are correspondingly numbered from 1 to 24 for the 24 shafts of the Magic Dobby.

This set of 10 program bars includes 160 black pegs for the activation of the shafts.

It’s that Wonder Wool Wales time of year again – so the van is packed and I’m back on the road.
